We are pleased to announce that we have successfully commenced technical management of Singapore’s first LNG bunkering vessel “FUELNG BELLINA” owned by FueLNG Pte Ltd, a joint venture between Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) and Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd. The vessel has now become commercially operational in Singapore and is ready to supply LNG as marine fuel.
“K” Line Pte. Ltd. (KLPL), a Singapore-based subsidiary that is wholly owned by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE), carried out “the Emergency Response Drill” on November 26, 2025, simulating a major fire drill was conducted involving M/V EUROPA BAY, a bulk carrier which is owned and operated by KLPL and managed by “K” Line RoRo Bulk Ship Management Co., Ltd. (KRBS)

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE) has entered into a joint research and development agreement with NIPPON HAKUYO electronics, ltd. ※1) and OPT Gate Co., LTD. (※2) for the development of a new fire detection system for vessels, using optical technology.
Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE), Kawasaki Kinkai Kisen, Ltd. (“K” LINE KINKAI), and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (KHI) have agreed to carry out the research and development of the “Safe Berthing/Unberthing Assist System” to enhance safety and efficiency of vessel maneuvering, berthing/unberthing, and mooring operations in ports.
